My buddy Boomer took me to the Rubicon and what a day it was!
Saturday February 4th was awesome! Clear weather, temps 40-50'sF, light winds, and he remarked that no one else was on the trail that day. ![]() He took me through Gate Keeper and then asked if I wanted to drive! I said Hell Yeah! and then came Granite Bowl. He had me try to get up the hill but we had some technical difficulties, me. ![]() I asked if he could show me how to use the winch so he did! ![]() Continued up the trail a ways then turned around and went out Wentworth Springs ![]() ![]() then went over the river crossing and out. What an awesome time! Thanks Boomer! ![]() I hope to meet you locals out there soon!

You just got a taste of the trail...
Wait 'till you see Buck island lake from the slabs, and Rubicon springs ![]() I plan on being up there as much as possible this year, last year I didn't get to wheel at all

It's Boomers Jeep, he built it and is trying to sell it because he wants a JKU to haul the family and wheel.
