Thanks for the update and the FYI about come prepaired if you have to come. I know a few of us are still planning on going up there but my plan is to clear the trail and fix anything that needs fixing for the most part. My fear is people that start making bypasses so I want to be there to clear the trail so people will stay on it.

The drop into Ellis will need some work with a shovel for sure.

There was little to clear on the main trail and almost no bypasses were being used/made. We cleared some trees that were across the tril before you get to Wentworth campground but that was it as far as that goes. Lots of snow up there though.

So, how far did you go in? Did you go through the bowl?

My guess is they went in thru wentworth (he said so) and stopped just before spider. I went in thru loon yesterday. The tracks ended before spider which is still frozen. Broke trail to buck via old sluice. Solid coverage from loon to buck (a few feet) somebody has already been winching to trees without a tree strap (idiots) It will definitely not be thawed before memorial weekend. I'm going to reno!

Yep. Aggro nailed it other than the winching without a strap. We winched 2x but had a strap to use and used it.

Sorry dean, didn't mean to imply it was you guys but it does read that way.

We did pass two quads who WERE winching to trees without straps.
