Trail Survey Huge Success June 12

this is the GPS survey to mark the original trail on big maps. I had the maps at the FOTR meeting this past March. I hvae them with me on most trips (when someone reminds me).
The survey will add some monuments set in rock. We are tying ortho-photos to ground GPS data. It just marks the orig trail. Where do you live.? I can show you the maps and stuff. Del

Yes, we'll have the maps on the 19th.
The really cool maps (shrunk to fit 8 x 14 inches) is in the county survey office (I'll have some soon). I'll hvae the big ones. Del

Food for the 19th is, yup, on your own. Bring a lunch and water.
It turns out Mark Smith has lined up his helicopter to help shuttle folks in that don't want to ride or walk, so I'm trying to get the final count today. Del

I don't have copies yet. These are WALL size maps, 4 foot by 16 foot long or thereabouts. Wait until I get reduced copies that are more manageable. As soon as get the survey done and plotted, we'll have the smaller maps for us to use.
