Rubicon gets surveyed.

Here are some pictures of the first vip trip FOTR did last Thursday.

Note the GPS unit on Mike's Runner

Johnny Law keepin' an eye on the Sluice Box.

Del and the rest of the FOTR gang hauling in people.

I can't remeber her name (I believe she's with Placer county?) but she sure is a cutie.

Will the wentworth springs route be surveyed as well?
We just went in that way last weekend.

Sure is a nice change.

Was any work done on the Wentworth side?? Did the HiLo's go in on the 7th? How is the last water hole? Still deep? 48" is more of a deterent than the Gatekeeper.

I made it through with the flatty.

my toolbox under the seat was a little moist at the end of the day.
I had to stay way to the right but it wasn't too bad.

Scott - I think the water level has dropped a bit since a few weeks ago. I think the deepest point I saw going in thru Wentworth Springs last weekend was maybe 30".... that does not mean there still is not a nasty 48" hole out there....

Was there ever a full discussion on what they are working on?

I have a survey monument that belongs some where on Rubicon. I pulled it out of Spider while diving there about ten years ago. Along with half of a wooden boat and countless beer cans and bottles.
