Loon lake
Me and some buddies are planning a trip to loon lake. Does anyone know if boats are allowed on the lake? I dont think they are but last time my buddy was up there he siad that he saw someone with a boat on the lake. I didnt even think there was a launch ramp. Any info would be helpful.
thanks Basil

yes, boats are allowed. There is a speed limit I think. That lake has many underwater hazards, be careful.

Thank you.
I have seen some big rocks very close to the surface. thats why I thought that they didnt allow boats. But I guess as long as we go the limit and watch out we will be ok. Basil

There is a boat ramp in the area of the main campground along the south side of the lake. This last weekend the lake had more water than I have seen in years, not many rocks sticking out. that could change quickly so be careful.
