A buddy and myself are planning to wheel in the back on Sunday, Aug 3. Unless there is a big group coming out, then we may go do Fordyce instead on Sunday.

In fact, isn't the trail officially closed during that time via a county permit?

Yup, this weekend July 25 - 27 is Jeepers Jamboree, next weekend Aug 1 - 3 is Jeep Jamboree, followed by Jeep Jamboree USA on Aug 8 - 10.

The first two Jambo's have a permit that give them exclusive use of the trail.

I don't think the Jeep Jambo USA event has exclusive use of the trail, but I wouldn't go anyway with 300 vehicles expected.

My main group is heading in from the Loon Lake side on Aug 5. We are going to go early so we can wheel it both directions. We are heading home on Friday Aug 8 so we should miss the traffic jam.

Suzuki's On The Rocks will be Rollin in the weekend of the 6th.
