Sponsors Kick In To Help Del (like BFG and ARB)

We have some vendors/sponsors/dealers who are going out of their way to help us keep the Rubicon Trail alive and well. You should always do business with tme FIRST - at least check to see if they have what you need before you move on.

Also, if you want your trails of any type to be open in the future, do business ONLY with vendors and dealers who are in the game helping us keep trails open. That means vendors/dealers who are giving to raffles, who are sending a few bucks to the land use/access cause, donating to land use funds and legal funds, offering free products to help a club, etc. etc.

But, if you come across a guy that's just out to make money on your rig, and he's not doing anything with his business to help us keep the trails open, then DO NOT DO BUSINESS with him. period. Let him know why.

That's how YOU can make a difference. It's like voting with your pocket book. My vote goes to those guys who are doing something active to help us keep the Rubicon open.
They are listed in this forum. Pay them a visit. Buy from them whenever you can. Vote with your pocket book.
Del

On my door step last night I found 4 brand new BFG MT's (35 x 12.50). WOW. Jeff Cummings from BFG is helping me get my TJ ready for the Rubicon next year. The tires were a donation (free) to my rig just so I can continue to work on the Rubicon (and truthfully, many other trails) in a rig that is a bit more capable (lifted off the ground).

I'm already a fan of BFG, and when they step up and do what they can to help land use and access (keeping me rolling counts), then I gotta say that my support for them increases proportionately.

BFG has always supported many of our club and group raffles and conventions. Now this direct support of my efforts to continue as your trail boss really puts them up several notches in my book!

Yea, RockHugger, I've got a 4" long arm kit coming and ARB has thrown in new Old Man Emu 4" coils and shocks. ARB is doing this for free as part of their ongoing effort to support me.

Now YOU tell me what my lady is going to do in a butt-tight mini skirt with my rig so far off the ground.???

She will just have to pull her skirt up around her waist, then she will have no problem getting in

Arrow ARB Helps Trail Boss with Rig

Part of being the Rubicon Trail Boss is having a rig that can stand up to the trail, several times a year. ARB has been helping to sponsor my land use/access and Rubicon work for three years now. In fact, they are my longest standing sponsors. Well, now they've thrown in new coils and shocks for my TJ.

They are sending me the specially designed 4" coils and shocks made for High Country Performance in CO. The High Country guys are putting the package together for me, which includes a 4" Long Arm kit from Terrflex.

Now, you all know this forum is not for chit chat on how to build a rig. But the message I'm delivering here is critical:

1. We have some businesses that believe in helping us to fight for access -- and saving me a few bucks on my rig so I use that money otherwise (like to help save trails across the country), is a huge way of being involved in our sport. ARB is one of those businesses. (Also see the other thread here about BFG).

2. As the Rubicon Trail Boss, the less time and money I have so spend on my rig, the more I can do for our trail. IT's that simple. So when guys help out, no matter how much or little, it gives me more room to work on our trail (and other trails too).

AND so when we go on those politician tours, you do not have to worry about the rig and can concentrate on politics

Del,

Having a lifted Jeep is a good way to test to see if she's worthy. If she can't hack it, she's not worth it.

Go Del. Are you going to debut it at TDS this year? Looking forward to seeing you there.

I hope to have all the mods done by Winter Fun Fest in January.
We'll see.......I'm pretty good on this keyboard, and a little slow on wrenching.

High Country Performance (CO)

Boy, you guys are sooooo supportive...thank you very much.
Actually, yes, I will be at WFF and yes, I hope to have the mods done.

Oh, and as to the lift, High Country Performance out of CO gave me a heck of swinging deal (way below retail) to help support my efforts. And of course, Rubicon4x4.Com helps me out routinely with cheap discount deals on good stuff.

So this is big news guys.....folks are actually kicking in to help a land use access kinda guy. I LIKE IT!

And one more thing, as to the Litte bitty Sluice, well, you big boys just have to show me more tricks as to how to do it. I'm still learning....

POWER TANK Kicks In to Help!

Power Tank (Advanced Air Systems) has kicked in a new Power Tank (C02) with all the attachments, etc. to help me with the Rubicon Trail work projects (and to keep my jeep on the trail!).

Steve Sasaki (Owner/Founder) is a great guy and many of you have met him at our various events and conventions. He wants to be on the team, and this is a great way for that to happen.

If you're looking for a portable air system that can fill a couple dozen tires from one bottle, run air tools and put a tire back on a rim, check out POWER TANK.
http://www.delalbright.com/Products%...hicles/air.htm

And remember, when you have a choice, be SURE to buy from vendors who support us. Thanks, Del

Thumbs up

We run Steve's Powertank systems on our competition buggies. They power the ARB's and are much more reliable than the noisy ARB compressors.
