I know that the jamboree is there around this time but do they close the trail all week or can one get on it sunday and monday? We could also run the trail mondat and tues if that would work better.

The following is from www.Rubicon-trail.com.

The last weekend in July and the first weekend in August are traditionally reserved for the Jeepers Jamboree (7/28 - 7/31) and Jeep Jamboree (8/5 - 8/7) - and trail closure means that the Rubicon Trail is closed to public access by county ordinance. Ignore it and you'll end up with a stiff ticket. 2 Sheriff deputies will be on the trail.
