Plus anyone is welcome to join our group we will be going in friday night oct 14th and runnin the trail with some Marlin guys
In any National Forest you will always need a campfire permit to have a fire or use any other fire to cook. under restrictions it will depend on the forest as to what you can do. In the El Dorado, fires and BBQ's are not allowed outside of developed campgrounds, but propane stoves are OK.
sounds good yea somone in our group asked me and i said i didnt know because i had never made a fire up there, besides my propane grill that always gets plenty of use. :smokin:
Actually, Eldorado NF dropped fire restrictions on Oct 1. Their website does not reflect this last time I checked but a phone call confirmed it. BE CAREFUL anyway!!
You going up there with Shamb and Toynorcal's group from marlins BB? If so I will be in that group.
