Well....Scott was on the trail....So I went to Kiosk. Already there was Derrick Dodson, new applicant who lives in Quinette.
As you can see, it was a lighter weekend. We also had to contend with the chopper flights, as they prepared for the Jamboree weekends.
Last week...we left it like this. USFS Maps, FOTR..etc.
They cleaned us out of everything, except Tread Lightly brochures...so the display was noticed! It was refilled with Rubicon Trail Patrol brochures, which list the Rules Of The Road, and the County Rubicon Trail map.
Thankfully, Kevin Carey showed up with an EZ up for shade. Kev stuck around and helped us meeting the users. No bag total, but probably around 40 or so between 8:30AM and 1:45PM. All received with a smile. One guy said "Thank God...I forgot my trash bag!"
And this fellow.....was driving out around a bag he had received previously!
And this Jr. Jeeper was too pooped to listen to our pitch, take a bag or watch the trail.
