When this whole idea first started, it was done out of frustration and the lack of any law enforcement on the Rubicon.
My idea, was to wake everyone up and get people to start caring
That, I think was accomplished.
Yes it was a loose band of volunteers, with no records keep and no formal organization. Probably mistake number one.
Mistake number two, was me trying to get it organized with no real goals, or time to organize it. I should have stepped away after the first meeting in Orangevale, and found someone else to take the idea and run with it.
Heck I still can't find my notes from any of the meetings that we did have:shaking:
I want to thank those that have stepped up to take control of the RTP for doing so.
Those that are trying to make something of the loosely, unorganized, band of volunteers we started with have their hands full. I hope you good luck and I will continue to support the RTP in whatever small way that I have from the beginning.
Those of you that followed along since the unorganized but well meaning start, give the new leaders a chance to get organized. Trying to take over something started by someone else and make changes is very difficult, and something I have first hand experience with.
Good luck and let's keep doing what needs to be done to keep the Rubicon the greatest trail in the world.

PS... hope some of this makes sense
