Hardcore wheeling via Wentworth springs
I've heard of some pretty tough obstacles outside of Wentworth springs. Some waterfalls or dried up creek beds. I was wondering if anyone could get me some information on these. Specifically where they are and if they are on the designated route or if these guys are not "treading lightly" when they run them.

If they're the one's I thinking of, they're not on the Designated Trail list and are definately off the trail. There is still plenty of challanges on the route from Wentworth and Soup Bowl & Little Sluice will always get your blood pumping

The spot's I'm thinking of are not far past the WWS Campground. With the current restrictions in place, anything off the main trail is off limits.

I was told this line was off the trail, after I did it. Is that correct? I only ask so I know not to do that line anymore. Thanks.

those are some fun reefs and ledges to climb-over for sure. there is also a switch-back sort of trail that crosses that section arguably for others to bypass the steep climbs. so are they both 'the trail' or is it only the route straight up the boulder/reef sluice?

Randy, from the sounds of it, the ledges going into the main trail is what they're talking about. I guess those could be considered the "waterfalls". Different people always have another name for obstacles.
Seeing those pics kicked in some memories and thoughts of a Sami. Makes my blood pressure go up just looking at them.

Looks to me like you are about 2 feet from trail center. That IS the trail.
