taking off today...
Hi all... I'm head out to the con this afternoon... does anyone know if there is fire restrictions along the trail? I have a fire permit but cannot find if there are any restrictions in effect.. please help. Thank you.

If you don't find out before you head up - stop by the USFS station up there on your way in and ask. Two minutes out of your drive might save you a lot of headache

Currently there are no restrictions on campfires, (8/12)
I just talked to the Placerville office and they do not know at this time when restrictions will go into effect. normally we have a few days notice and the restrictions go into effect in the begining of a week to give people enough time.
