2 years ago we happened to go on Jambo weekend (didn't know) and were turned around on top of the slab above the spillway. I had my dad down from Idaho, and we really wanted to wheel some so we went in through wentworth. Didn't see a soul after the campground and the trail was eerily quiet. In through wentworth and out to loon, had never been that way, was a fun little trip.
Travis..

Bebe,
I go by the official Jeepers Jamboree site. There are 2 events, the more famous Jeepers Jamboree and the exclusively Jeep event, the Jeep Jamboree. Straight from their site. The Jeepers Jamboree has exclusive use of the Rubicon Trail for its events. Be sure to check your calendar. Trail date restricition is July 27 - August 1, 2011 and August 4 - August 8, 2011. You cannot access the trail without a wristband! http://www.jeepersjamboree.com/trip_info.html

The one that goes from Cisco Grove Campground to Eagle Lakes rd. Ask about it at the Cisco Grove store.

This short trail is a wake-up when leaving the Cisco Campground. Every time I recheck my belts when looking down on Hwy-80. Last time we went on it, there was a no charge, as we paid for the overnight parking ($10 per tow rig) mid July.
