How much is your machine torch worth? They can be made if you have access to machinery.

Torch has been saved about 4 times so far.

i may just do that, figure maybe its worth buying a existing product to help save time. but honestly don't think in this case its worth buying. maybe no one around these parts have one of these. i know at some point i saw a post where a guy made his own but cant find it anymore.

awesome! thats the thread i had been searching for but was unable to find. thanks

ive never had an issue where a tip-up could damage anything but, im starting to get into thicker and other oddly shapped parts that could potentaly cause some major damage quickly leading me to think i need some kind of a break away soon.

Thicker problems ? It should stall out / limit... the thin metal is what I've fucked up with hitting the tip, bent it to all hell, and ruined the piece.

That's a pretty good idea.

Here's what I bought for the plasmacam at work http://www.levelzeromotorsports.com/...63faa8f4d25061

Not the exact same idea but it keep the torch straight and makes consumable changes easier.
