Hyperthern Powermax 1000 torch

Does anyone have a good torch laying around for this machine. I know several people have upgraded to the Duramax torches. My torch is pretty well trashed and I dont have the coin to upgrade at this point.
I would like to buy a good used one for right now.
If anyone has one let me know.

Thanks
Adam

Wink

It might be nice to know where you live.

The shipping might be expensive.

Then who ever gives up a Hypertherm torch that is any good just like used machines.

Stuff like that does not last long.

Going to bring this back up. Im having machine issues now and the local welding repair is telling me it is "probably" the torch.

Machine wont fire. When it is turned on the air gauge light just flash as well as the AC and lightning bolt lights just flash. You can turn it of and play with it and some times it will start working and sometimes it will not. Then you can come back to it the next day and it will work like nothing ever happened. Im thinkning PC board, but noone can give me a good diagnoses.

Thanks

Adam

Red face

You must have a Hyperthem Repair vendor someplace out there .

Spend the money get it looked at i know I have a test torch but being 12 hours from Saint Louis Does not help you.

Thing is no more replacement torches you need to upgrade to the Duramax torch.

Keep an eye out on Ebay

Good Luck !!!

Yea there is local repair shops. The thing is that it is intermintent so every time it is taken there it works fine. They said they think its the torch, but thats a high dollar guess if it is something else.

Talking

I find it hard to believe they don`t have a test torch .

Then who knows the standards of any place else.

you don`t know anyone else in your area that would let you try a torch??

such is life sometimes .

Good luck.
