i have one.............its around 300 amps if i remember right...its very nice it's very easy to adjust and use. now that i think about it, i dont think i have on complaint about it- thats weird too. the only thing thats not awesome is the length of the cord, i only have a 12 footer. that seems like a lot, but 20 would be cool i guess- come on i have to have something to look forward too..............

all and all it's really easy to use and welds very consistant

Blacksheep10 has one, that he loves. I've used it and like it as well, and I'm used to my Miller. I believe his is a Migmaster 285?

My brother in laws best friend is an Esab rep for N.Texas and is currently working a deal for me to longterm demo a C340. We'll see.

they're very popular in Europe.
they've bought up a number of domestic welding equipment outfits, incl. Linde which I adore.

I have the 750i plasma cutter. It is rated to 1.25" but .75 is as thick as I have done. Works awesome, especially since I only paid $800 for it.

we have an esab 250 amp mig at work. it welds great, reliable and all. just make sure you have a local source for consumables. we only have one shop around that carries their stuff, so its not the most convienient.
