Painting an Asphalt garage floor?

I know epoxy paint for concrete floors has been covered, but...

Anyone done this? Ideas? Opinions?

I bought a townhouse with a single garage. The place has an asphalt floor. The floor is in really good shape, never seen a car, so I think I'm going to leave it as is, but I would like to do something to try and brighten the place up, as well as seal the asphalt so oil doesn't leak into the floor and so it cleans up easily. The black floor sucks up light and you lose nuts and bolts on it easily, plus the beer fridge is in the garage and I can't be putting my shoes on everytime I want a brew. That's just unacceptable. I need a clean garage floor.

I was thinking about the paint that's sprayed on by roadway crews - it's put on very thick and it seems to hold up to traffic well. I don't mind having to touch the paint up every once in a while, and this is going to be a relatively low vehicle traffic area, more like a foot traffic area mostly (rig is too big for garage). I figure if I could find out what this stuff is, and have it dyed from white to red or grey, I'd be laughing.

I know the floor would have to be degreased and vacuumed to make it super clean. Now is the time to do it... Before all my junk shows up

Thanks

Hmmm....

Maybe one of those thick industrial floor painting kits, but a LOT of it to "layer" it into the rather porous surface of the asphalt?

I would try roofing coating/paint. It's formulated to stick to asphalt shingles and tar paper.

It's available in white and light gray.
