Clausing Colchester 1550 Mark 2
A buddy of mine just picked up this lathe in mint condition with all the goodies.
The one thing he doesn't have is the owners manual. Anyone one know a good resource to get it? It was made in the mid 70's but is still in excellent condition. Dave

Nice find!
1550 = 15" swing, 50" center. Uh, Clausing will have manuals. Don't be shocked to find they are $100 (ran into something similiar with my LeBlond). PIC of a new machine Tom

Clausing sent me a manual for mine for $10, but that was a few years ago, and I've since moved several times and lost it.
In the past, Clausing listed parts for every machine they made. With luck, it's still the same as I'm finally able to finish the rebuild of mine (a 1369).
