info on a century welder
I just got a century 100 duel porpose welder from a yard sale for $80 it came with a 10 gallon tank( I think its 10)but it didn't come with a book but it seems to work well, anyone have any info on them, how good they are? What thicknesses that it can weld? I would like to find a book on it but can't find anything about this model, thanks, meangreen

i have a 150 and love it and my brother has a 150 and also loves his found this online may answer some questions i have welded mostly thin stuff sheet metal and up to 1/8" did some 1/4" just a little welds the only problem i found with it versus my dads miller 240 volt 185 amp is the duty cycle at 1/4" i can only weld a few minutes then i have to sit since i only do the lite stuff with mine it works out great and for $80 i would say you have got a good machine to pratice with but you will soon find you'll want to go with a bigger unit. http://www.centralonlinesales.com/sh...uct.asp?ID=894
