***************disclaimer************************* ********** i don't have a shop and i have not seen the above mention system in action but it makes alot of sense i found it in an mtm air compressor book we had at work and i thought i'd share what i found
first starting at the air compressor they recommend an auto drain(but any type will do in mho) then they say that hot air cools and liquidfies down stream so you main line filter and regulator should be placed atleast 20' from the compressor the air will cool down allowing more water vapor to be condense for removal. galvanized pipe is recommended and when you run your lines thur the shop instead of pointing your "t" down for a branch line point it up and and stub in a piece with a goose neck then drop down for your branch this way more water stays in the main line.
