Kaeser air compressors anyone?

Anyone have experience with one of these in a shop or garage application? I need a new shop air compressor, going to put our ancient stationary compressor on a service trailer with a new gas motor and saw the Kaesers advertised but had not heard of them before - look like good packages from what I saw.

Any comments?

For LOTS of cfms the Kaesar screw compressors are the best Ive run into. The catch is they dont deliver as high a pressure as the conventional piston type. We had 2 at the last shop facility I worked at specifically because of the cfm rating they deliver.

They do use a lighter oil in the case than piston types and really need a tad more service (oil) was what I ran into on a 24hr/7day type operation.

We run one here at our shop (50hp I think?) and we've had pretty good luck with it. It obviously the screw type, and it's loud as hell. We've got it out side, in it's own building, with mucho sound insulation, and it can still be heard noticeably in the main building. It runs 10 hrs a day, 5 days a week, and has been quite reliable as far as downtime is concerned.
