Methyl alcohol (methenol) will soften polyester resin fiberglass. Don't know about epoxy resin glass, but I doubt it. Keep a soaked rag on the area for a while, and you should be able to peel, scrape, shave, etc, the offending material.
acetone doesn't do much after it has gone off. I would try aircraft stripper. sand it down to real close to the aluminum and then just try dumping every different kind of stripper/solvent on it. one at a time of course.
Naptha or Toluene works fairly well...except you'll have this glue-type jelly resin you'll have to clean up...
