Anyone have one of these? I am considering buying a used one for sheet metal/Small stuff for $150. Is it worth it? ($339 new @ Home Depot)

i'd say definatly if it has the gas conversion already. i have the 155 and it has lasted for over 10 years with out a problem. i have been through a lot of wire too. a couple friends of mine each have the 100 and they have lasted them for probably over 10 years also.

oh yea, make sure it comes with the sweet face shield on a popsicle stick and the video

I don't think it has the gas conversion, i'll know when I check it out.

I want to use it just for the small and thin stuff that my Hobart 175 is not good at.

If $150 is to much, what would a fair offer to the seller be? $100-$125?

Also, something I am more concerned with than $25 or $50 is that it is a good machine, because I will likely keep it forever.

good price , I paid $100.00 for mine and the wire would not feed , so I took it to have it fixed and it was covered under warranty

works pretty darn good

I've got the 100 and can't tell you how many of the large spools of wire I've run through it with no problems.

Hands down its worth it.

Bought my 100 back in `91 and it is still going strong. I've probably run 30+ large rolls of flux core wire through it. It has a higher capacity with the flux core and the smaller tip lets you get into tighter spots. Great machine.
