What can you guys tell me about this Miller?

Older than dirt.

Most like a 3 phase machine, so they can be inexpensive, but what do you need a 300Amp machine for?

There were at least three CP300 models that I know of, all three were 3 phase only.

CP300 - Mid 90's CV only power supply.

CP300E, CP300TS - Mid 70's CC/CV power supplies.

In all cases they are rated for 300A @ 100% duty cylce with a max. output near 400A.

There are a few shops in town that still run the mid 70's CP 300 CC/CV boxes, they run nice but the electrical supply requirements could run a house...
