Spied a twin pack of 4.5" Makita grinders for sale in Home Depot yesterday for $79. I don't know if this it the local HD only or not, but might be worth your while to check it out. FWIW
Not bad - might have to check that out. I'm getting tired of swapping between grinding discs and flap wheels- need to just set up dedicated tools for each one.
Just realized that I fat fingered "Makita" in the title. :shaking: Depending on finances I may scoot back down there and buy a set just to have. I was going to compare them to the regular Makita model they carry to see if it was the same version or not, but I forgot.
I have multiple Makita 4.5 griders because I keep each one with a differant type disk so i dont have to swap all the time. I have one that is starting to run rough so its about time to get a new one. At that price I might buy 2 sets (4 total) I am going to HD at lucnh...
Around here HD has a special, 2 dewalt 4.5 inchers for 80 bucks. We bought 4 at work and they seem ok, several guys have bought them for home use also. They are around 9 amp units with 5/8 threads
