square hole plug? help pirate!

I need to find a square snap in hole plug. Round ones are a dime a dozen, but i cant locate a sqaure one. I need something in a 1.5 by 2.5 inch flavor preferably black but i'll paint it if i have too. If no such thing exists anyone have another idea how to fill a square hole in a plastic panel. thanks

Aside from milling something can you get a piece of plastic square stock. i was gonna say key stock but 1.5 x 2.5 is pretty big.

Here's some 1.5 x 2.5 plastic ldpe bar stock: http://www.k-mac-plastics.net/ldpe-s...-bar-stock.htm

you're gonna be looking a long time if you want a square that has sides 1.5" by 2.5"...maybe you should look for a rectangular plug.

What about just using a piece of HDPE and painting it?

yea yea, i was the kid trying to beat the square peg in the round hole anyway. I thought about the plate and 4 screws idea but im looking for something a little bit cleaner, but may have to do that as a last resort. I dont have the ability to machine my own plug out of plastic.

How about using a fiberglass kit like you get at homo depot? or making the plug from the fiberglas?

Or a piece of lexan from homo depot?

I think there's a company called capplugs that makes square plugs. We bought a bunch of 1-1/2" square plugs for a project years ago.

Does it need to be watertight? Or just a decorative to cover an existing hole? Like a dashboard or fender?

McMaster Carr has some rectagular plugs:

Not the exact sizes you are looking for, but it might get you close.
