Very True. I will not deny that. I miss the Miller 252 I was borrowing.

 

Im in the process of building a cart for my XMT, Spectrum 875, Cobramatic, and little lincoln feeder. Going to pic up my sheet of expanded metal today then ill post some pics. I wish I had a bender, that cart with the stainless is awesome

 

All that fancy stainless work only to use a ratchet strap as a bottle holder.... :laughing:

All formed stainless thats spot welded together. No ratchet strap or bungee on this bottle though, chain or go home suckas!!! :flipoff2:

 

Put mine on big mower wheels for moving in the gravel in front of the shop;

 

HA! Love the old Forney with the taps. I have the same machine, still works awesome.

 

It's a beast and still works great. Nothing special but it gets the job done when needed.

It had my plasma then I got a bigger one, now I`ll probably stick a Lincoln 140C on it when I get it for welding light-duty stuff.

I built this one this summer:

 

$25 harbor freight tool cart some scrap metal. im going to make an aluminum water tank for the cooler to go above the welder. I might mount my plasma or MIG on top. still need paint.

 

mine isnt quite as clean as some of the others but heres mine i just finished up. I put the metal plate on the top because it will double as a work table and welding table since I don't have room for a decent sized table.

I was thinking about doing something similar, but was wondering about and concerns I should have with the welding table top being in such close proximity to the tank.

I know, common sense, but I'm just looking for avenues I might not have thought of.

 

Still have to finish it but it will have diamond plate aluminum sides. the top will be clear lexan and the front will be a flip out cast iron trash chute door..

Maybe i will play with it next week....Its made from scrap.

 

I tossed my welder into an old shopping cart that I "found". Works for me.

 

I stole a cart from a drunk bum and made it more maneuverable for my needs:

not for the MIG but for the plasma....

 

and this was a display cart for our turbo Harley kits, kinda unrelated but a cart nonetheless....

 

I used the larger HF utility cart, cut a round hole for the tank to drop into (supported by the bottom level) no need for a chain to hold it up. Tools/clamps/grinders up top, HH210 on the bottom, and a set of hooks to wrap the 50' extension cord. I'll have to see if I can find a good pic to post...

I bought the el cheapo service cart from HF and flipped the top tray and cut a hole for my tank and called it real.... but its no beast like the second post

 

I'm going to have an 80cf bottle behind the welder and a powermax 45 sitting above the welder on this cart if all goes well soon.

I've wanted to increase so floor space and reduce some cords getting tangled up on the floor. So I stacked my small lincoln and my plasma on. I figured since the plasma needs shop air i would put an air reel on the kart.

Both machines are grounded together and one cable to the bench or whatever.

Since the plasma needs air I put an air reel on the kart also

I ran the 220 power cable, air line, and an extension cord through a nylon sleeve. Everywhere there is 220 in the shop is also 110 and shop

air.
