Hts-2000

Has anyone had any experience with this stuff? I need to make a repair to a broken aluminum valve cover and saw this on the net;

http://www.aluminumrepair.com/video_new.asp

Is it for real or a lot of hype?

Does anyone know of another way to repair aluminum valve cover?

At $65 for 1 pound its a little expensive. I only need to make one small repair. I can replace the valve cover for $85.
Hardly seems worth it.
Anybody sell small amounts? Like 2-6 rods?
$65 gets 34 rods plus some other stuff, basically $2 dollars a rod. But who sells it by the rod, anyone?
What exactly is a tinning brush?
