there is a shop/tool forum for a reason...don't bother re-posting this bullshit there, searching is very easy. Go to the shop/tools forum and search.

The H-F bender is a pipe bender, not a tubing bender--big difference. If you think the dies are expensive, go to a steel vendor and get a chunck of steel, buy the machines to carve the die out of the steel. What you want them to give them to you!!!!!

Or you will spend 400-450 and a decent chunk of time to build your own. A 1.75 180 degree die is going to cost you around 300-325 shipped no matter what you do.

with some modifications, they can be decent. But you cannot go wrong with a nice expensive bender.

One of these low cost tubing benders is the only real way to go. Sure you are going to be 5-600 into the bender and die, but that is nothing compared to the steel you are going to put through it. At a couple bucks a foot it is really quick to see that you will most likely save money buying a nice bender rather than making a cheap one sort of work.
