Brad Lovell Podiums at Crandon

I attempted to wait for Brad to announce this, but I can wait no longer.

Brad Lovell reaches the podium at the "BIG HOUSE"

After a rough weekend at Redbud, the Lovell crew surely had the pro-lite dialed in. In a fifteen truck field, an awesome qualifying run put them firmly in 2nd place in the land rush start at Crandon International Offroad Raceway.

Saturday's line-up put Brad on the inside of turn one. Amazingly, brad was able to pilot his pro-lite around a spectacular crash a mere 500 yards into the race. The crash damaged numerous vehicles, leaving Randy Eller's machine dangling on the safety catch fence on the shore of Parson's pond. Brad was able to fend off a couple hard charges by Shawn Morris and Ross Hoek to clinch the 2nd spot on the podium.

JT Taylor (Brad's spotter and crew chief) was able to guide Brad around the track to the podium. As the white then checkered flag waved, JT's face was beat red with excitement.

Congrats to Lovell Racing Family!!!

Quote of the day by Brad's young son while track side, "Dad do you get a trophy?" "Why yes we do", Brad exclaimed!!!!

I'm glad you folks finally made it back to visit us at the circus tent. You are welcome anytime...

Sweet!! Good job Brad & Co. Too bad round 4 was cancelled on Sunday--it sounds like Team Lovell was running well.

awesome! Way to go Brad and crew.

I think they are busy preparing to race up Pike's Peak this week. I'm sure he will report something afterwards.

Thanks everyone! I am still smiling!!! We have worked a long time to get on the box and faced a lot of discouragement. The good news is that we are a lot faster this year and facing off against the big teams even with less testing and experience.
