Project Wangler - TJ backhalf + bobbed tub + boatsides

Nothing really novel about this, but I'm doing something a little different and thought I'd share for suggestions and abuse.

Couple poser pics for background:

2005:

2007:

Took it off the trails to upgrage to 42s, 60 / 14b, probably air shocks. Was going to do a traditional back half plus comp cut but I was retiring it from DD duty and the bender was collecting dust.

Sat like this pretty much all of 2008:

Just got motivated and back to work recently.

I have to re-work the tie-ins, but I'll worry about that as I finish up the boatsides. Don't ask me why I left the factory body mounts + hard cage ties.

Wasn't sure how it would work out, re-using the entire rear upper half, but I think this will work.

I'll figure something out with the rear tie-ins. Most likely cut it apart and splice in a cleaner single piece.

Body pieces are just there for mockup at the moment. Once the structural stuff for the boatsides is done, I'll worry more about finishing off the floor, enclosing the cab, and body finishing.

Jeep looks good. Boatsides are not fun to build but are worth it when your done. Can't wait to see the finished product.

Looking good. I like the enclosed tub just behind the seats reminds me of another build around here. Keep posting.

The build is looking awesome... I can imagine that the building process is a PITA but in the end I am sure it will be well worth it!!
