Thumbs up Aussie Locker News: Intro price is extended

First off - if you haven't checked out the review, DO IT

http://www.pirate4x4.com/productrevi...sie/index.html

Secondly, there has been a LOT of interest in the Aussie locker, especially concerning the sweet intro price.

In response to that interest, and in talking with Bill Cole, I thought it would be nice if they could extend the intro price for a while longer. Bill agreed

So, it looks like the $199 intro price has been extended to the end of December - perfect timing for these lockers to end up as presents under the Christmas tree

Sweet! I'm daily driving a welded rear right now cuz I'm too lazy to swap it back and forth since I'm going out almost every weekend right now, plus it's fun for after work playing I wasn't gonna be able to get an Aussie by the end of the month, but next month should be do-able

I know Bill told me he was waiting on shipments from Australia so I wasn't planning on buying until Oct or Nov anyway. Guess I should put my order in before the sell out again.

Not sure about that, but a good old phone call or email may get you the help you need

Heavy Metal, an email was sent to you with suggestions on how the order entry at the point of selecting the shipping method. That may be where the problem is happening. If this does not work send me an email with your phone number and time to call and someone will call you to take your order. We apologize that you are having problems with the ecommerce site.

Aussie locker

just told me that there was a delay in the shipment.
I thought that was nice that they said something so I wasn't checking the back porch every day for no reason
Guess they will ship next Thursday!
I need this before the middle of October. Looks like I will have time to get the unit and install it.
Thanks Bill!
Danny

So the price will be good through December 31? I may be able to pick a couple up toward the end of that month if I can convince The Boss that it will save me a couple hundred dollars down the road. My trucks are currently 800 miles away....

And again, what will the normal price be? That will help make my decision.

Thanks to the review, I just ordered two lockers. I was looking for used but changed my mind while reading the review. Bam! This is easier than the shopping channel.

Thanks,

Antone

Regular Price

I just ordered a 8" Toyota Aussie Locker. On the check out page it said the regular price was $260 and the introductory price is $200. Just so you know, normal UPS ground shipping and handling is $19.95. So total to the credit card was $219.95.

Visit from Bill Cole!

Bill just visited our shop for a great discussion of products, metalurgy, manufacturing, marketing, customers and general wheeling stuff! Great guy, very dedicated to a great product too.

So, in case some of you wonder if there really is a human behind some of these things... yes, he is real!

This is great customer service!

Ordering mine up next week. Anyone know if the delay is caught up on or should I expect a couple extra days before it gets to me.

Tundra

Sorry Bayou, but there is not yet an Aussie Locker for your vehicle.

We will be visiting the new product development for 2004 early in the year, and the Tacoma/Tundra products are under review for that discussion.
