360 tech .065 overbore for SBC 400 slugs.

Anyone done this mod? I'm building a 360 for a buddy's 7 and would like to use hypereutectic pistons. This seems like a way to go.

What is the pin mod like?

Can't you just buy the 360 'tectics? I think it's going to take some custom machine work on the rod ends to fit the chevy pistons. Machine work=$$$

yea, the pistons cost more, but this might be offset by the cost of the machine work to fit chevy pistons.

Call Venolia, they make pistons for anything.

the pin is offset, allthoughg i have ran it like that with success, you will need to customize the bore. I know forged for 360's are BIG BUCKS!, heck i get 401 forged pistons for less these days...........dont know why

if you go past .06 make sure the block is good, Ive gone .090 before with a stroker crank and had all work well, and for petes sake get the block tumbled to get the casting sand out of it
