mitsu eclipse seats/wally world console review

i just installed this same interior in my 83 pickup and man does it make a difference... scored the seats for free (2 sets actually- one set being leather) from a guy on a local board... i chose to go with the cloth (never really liked leather) and the cloth ones had adjustable lumbar on the driver's seat.... could not believe it when i found the deal.... picked up the console today, $25 at wally world (showed $40 on the shelf but rang up cheaper

) so all in all i have $25 invested... there is less room than the factory buckets that i took out and passed along to a bench seat owner but it isnt bad at all.... so far ive been wheeling in them once and couldnt be happier overall.... looks like the console will from wally world will accept dual cases in the storage area, just cut a hole in the bottom of it and youve got a secret hidden shifter that nobody will ever know about unless the console is open.... havent measured yet but it looks like that will work out well.... for anyone considering this seat/console combo, i would definately recommend it

I went in to wal-mart the other day and almost took the same console up to the register but i wasnt sure if it was going to fit. It looked a little wide, but i also have some isuzu Trooper seats in my car. how much space is there between your seats and the console?

i have about 1/2-3/4 inch between the seats and the console.... i did have to trim the back of the console so that it would slide back far enough to clear the shifter
