2004 Razorback Ramble - June 4-6
On behalf of the Razorback Land Cruisers I'd like to invite you all to the fifth annual Razorback Ramble, June 4-6, at Superlift Park in Hot Springs Arkansas.
The Razorback Ramble is a TLCA Sanctioned Toyota-only event and will be limited to a maximum of 75 vehicles. Visit our web site to download and mail in your registration form or better yet... sign up on-line! http://www.razorbacklandcruisers.com/ramble.asp You can also find a registration form in the latest (March-April) Toyota Trails. If you have never been to Superlift Park, you really should join us. The park is privately owned, and the folks there have worked extremely hard to make it one of the premiere wheeling spots in the state, with MILES of well marked and well maintained trails for the novice and hardcore alike... all on 1200 acres of beautiful Arkansas countryside. A variety of guided runs will be held on Friday and Saturday, but you're free to explore the park on your own as well. Dinner is provided Saturday night followed by the the raffle. If you just have to have some last-minute wheeling you can stay for half a day Sunday. Plus, your Razorback Ramble registration fee includes a one year Premiere Membership to Superlift Park! That means that you can return to the park for just $10 a day for a year. There is normally a one time fee of $40 for Premiere Memberships, but Superlift Park is waiving the fee for all registered Ramble participants. Some camping and RV spaces are available at Superlift Park, and the nearby KOA Kampground offers even more great campsites and cabins. Plus, if you have never been to Hot Springs, you should definitley try to stay long enough to take in some of the great scenery, shops and attractions. Superlift Park is only a few minutes from historic downtown and the famous Bath House Row, and Hot Springs is surrounded by beautiful lakes, clear winding streams and sweeping vistas. If you have any questions, there is more info on our website ( http://www.razorbacklandcruisers.com/ramble.asp ), or you can e-mail me directly: dave@arkansasironpig.com Hope to see you there!

I have a free registration I won at the LSCR that I can't use since I have a new student conference at A&M at that time. If anyone is going and wants it send me a PM.

My credit card is still smokin' from Roundup and Moab being on the same freakin' paycheck. I really want to go, but I gots bills to pay between now and then. If my credit card comes up for air between now and then, and you're not sold out, I may have to show up. Especially of TP's gonna be there, I ain't seen enough of him yet this year...

You guys do an awesome job with this event! I have already sent back the registration response to your invite. Looking forward to coming back. do we need to reserve spots at the superlift park for camping or is it first come first served?

If you call and tell them you're with the Ramble they'll let you reserve the camp sites in the park. Plus, Superlift is currently building restroom and shower facilites. Should be nice... *if* they're done in time.

I'm on the fence... I have a spot at the TPP (texas peoples party) at K-rocks the previous weekend, and I know I can't do both.
If I end up going to the Ramble the beer stays home... I'm still recovering from the Round-Up. Me + beer = instant idiot. -mike.

Dave, I sent you an email yesterday but no answer yet. I hate to beat a dead horse but I have started two guys down here on their first cruisers and both want to attend if we can get the rigs ready in time. Problem - one has chosen a full Chevy drivetrain (sm465/np205) and has no provision for a parking brake. He has installed a line lock. Will he pass the inspection or will he have to run outlaw? The park is open for other vehicles isn't it? I have a couple of buddies that have made poor life choices and are now stuck with J##ps but they would like to wheel with us as well. Any additional info would be appreciated. BTW - I had a great time last year with everyone (especially the LSLC folks) and hope to see many of you again this year!

There will be some non-Toyotas at Superlift park because it is open for our week end of the Razorback Ramble. They will close the park for us in the future if we can get closer to 100 registrants. I believe we had nearly 50 last year. The park is big though and I have been down there for the Jeep Jamboree(as a passenger!) when there were 200 or so and no traffic problems.
So, If you have buddies that own non-toyotas,they can come down and enjoy the park with you by paying the parks regular fee. Some folks want all Toyota's and some don't care. I'm for the sport no matter what brand. Hope to see some old friends and new. Casey Huie Pres. Razorback Landcruises

We will have a nice Warn winch as a prize for one of the drivers. The TLCA kicks in a lot of cool stuff but we don't know exactly what yet. We have several generous sponsors that donate quality items and our club kicks in and buys some other goods. We toss freebies out to the crowd and have a good time with it. Superlift Park has hook ups for some campers. Kowboy was there last year front and center. BTW, sorry about your roll. Call them and reserve a spot for the Ramble. www.orvpark.com

Sorry guys. Didn't mean to leave your questions hanging. Some days I actually have to work a little.
wanabecruisen: I haven't received your e-mails that I know of... I'll go check to see if they got lost in the spam. Hit me again if you don't hear back from me soon. I think Casey covered just about everything, though. Best just to call Superlift Park or check their site if you have any questions about camp/RV spaces or fees. I don't *think* there are any extra fees, but I've never dealt with that myself so I could be wrong. Superlift Park - www.orvpark.com
