Dust to Glory Update

Theater locations and opening dates have been announced. Go the the website http://www.d2gfilm.com/home/ and go to "theater finder" to find your local showing.

This is a great movie and recommend anyone to go see it. Please see it to support the off road community.

This is what the Marty Fiolka posted on race-dezert.com

Hey Guys,

Marty Fiolka here. Let me try to clarify what is going on with the D2G distribution -- everybody can relax a little.

Remember what D2G is and isn't. In my opinion, and those select critics/journalists who have seen it, the film represents maybe the greatest motorsports film since Steve McQueen's LeMans in 1971. However, it is still an independant film and not a Hollywood blockbuster with a 100 million dollar production and marketing budget.

Like IFCs other films -- Big Fat Greek Wedding or Fairenheit 911 -- D2G will be rolled out nationally over the course of several weeks, with word of mouth helping build the films autdience nationally. It is therefore imperative that you'll go out, if you can, and jam the theaters where film is being played -- especially that first opening week.

Don't think for a minute that there are not plans to bring the film to Vegas, Phoenix etc. We know where the off-road audience is... we are just trying to balance taking care of you guys - our core audience -- and the mass market that we are trying to attract to theaters.

Trust me, this isn't easy. If it was, we would have had a Baja 1000 film out there years ago!

Best,

Marty Fiolka
Assoctiate Producer
Dust to Glory

If any one wants to go see it in SLO, maybe we can get a party together or at least go downtown or to Pismo one weekend

My friend mike did a lot of the filming for this whis his long travel buggy/ camera car. Basically a Motosports plus ls1 powered four seater with tabs for cameras all over the car.

Damn!
The closest theater to me is over 4 hours away in another state! (ABQ)
Or I could drive 6 hours to Dallas or 12 down to Austin...

ROAD TRIP!

Hey..thanks for the invite Hal. Seems I have perfect timing of always doing something whenever you call with something to do. Just got home from working on Gary's truck a lil while ago, have to finish it up tomorrow (it is sitting on tires tonight though)

I have seen it twice already. Racing Baja is a lot of fun. I have a whole new respect for the motorcycle racers after seeing it. BTW Andy Grider beat Cambell in the San Felipe 250. I think Campell has won it like the last 10 years.
