Cant decide between a LC pro EFI Stroker or the DOA stroker. Anyone pros/cons?

seems like alot of money to just end up with a 4 banger. But, whatever.

Either one is a good bet. They are both good companies that will take care of you.

Where are you located? Because both companies put out great products, think about how much it's going to cost to ship the motor. I've talked to Tim several times over the phone and he really knows his chit. Two people I know run his engines and no complaints from either.

I dunno.. I'd say either - whomever stands behind their work the best.
What's the deal with those motors? Are the rods from a Chevy - or custom.. Pistons custom also?

LCE has no core charge so you might want to consider that being that shipping is so expensive...

Doa

My DOA runs fine, although I dont know what its compression is at & the comparison to a LCE. Go for the double timing chain!

DOA sucks A$$

Cost me $1200 to learn that!

If you decide to research it be sure to look at the BBB site but dont bother with NC look in CA. I didnt know he did business in CA or I would have seen the BBB info and saved myself $1200

for less than the price of a 22re stroker, you can have a 2.7l tacoma motor in there.

But whatever floats your boat. I still cant cruse faster than 70 on flat land, or go faster than 45-50 up a hill with my lc motor. And to top it off.. it got 12 mpg when I filled it up today.
