DOA throttle body question
Thinking of getting DOA's oversize throttle body and plenum setup. Is it worth it? Do I need to get new injectors with a higher flow rate? Any help is appreciated.

I am not going to try to take away business from Tim. The two mods you mentioned will each yield a little gain in acceleration. But, is it worth $800 or $900 just for a little more pep?
I have 37s, 5.29s, rebuilt motor, cam, and header, and a polished head. I can hold about 80 - 85 on the freeway with a passenger and a bed full of gear. It is up to you.

800.00 - 900.00 is not the the cost, t-bodies are 290.00, injectors are 150.00, runners / chambers are 75.00 exchanged. 250.00 from the canadian source is less than my 290.00, BUT, they are using an aluminum blade, mine are brass. This will be a real factor in the long run.

Tim, did you do Jeff's 65mm TB? Is there a possibility of getting a setup similar to his? What is the cost of that bad boy?

You quoted the price of a complete plenum conversion, a whole different animal. The conversion is a center bored t-body, New upper chamber that is bored and ported, with a modified rudder in the roof, priced outright (no core). |

Jeff's using a Ford excursion t body on a modded upper chamber. I have these in stock, but they are not OEM ECU driven, you need a stand alone system. You can email for details.
