The new RAMP LITTER rules will cost several times more than last year. BLM El Centro is running in the red now. See the graph below. Watch for a series of Public Service Announcements (PSAs) encouraging ISDRA visitors to pack their trash HOME. DO THE MATH it will cost you nothing to carry your trash HOME. You may be the one who needs the EMT that was not funded for next season. We're so very fortunate that we have the same committee as the previous 2 years!!! This show wouldn't be the same without this wonderful group of people!!! They make it happen!!! We have purchased new canopies for the ASA. They are 10' x 20' steel framed and also one enclosure kit. Now that the ASA owns them they can be utilized at many more places/events without having to rely on someone to donate them that is retired and often not home. We're ordering some new banners for the ASA that can be attached to the new canopies. We have the same site as previous years. Good location for visibility but a bit on the noisy side but we'll deal as always. The list for Exhibitor Badges and campsites for ASA volunteers has been sent. The purchase of the advertisement for the ASA for the SSSS program has been sent. We only need to wait for the text and artwork to be completed and sent in. It will again be 1 full page explaining what the ASA is. Flo Haynes is handling the merchandise again and is on top of that. Trailer transportation is being taken care of. ASA will have a seperate booth strictly for informational purposes that will showcase our new PMV video along with the trash and other issues at the ISDRA. All said, we'll be ready to be brighter and better than ever before! *Upcoming Events* Two events are scheduled on the calendar in AZ this fall. Gary Jordan will coordinate a Dune Info meeting at RATV/MX Warehouse in Chandler on Sept 1, 2005. An early October event will be held on the west side in Peoria at the Orangewood RV facility. Scott Swenka, Checkered Flag Chairman is coordinating this event. CA events include the SSSS on Sept. 16 – 18 in Costa Mesa. The Off Road Expo is scheduled for Oct. 8 - 9. The El Centro Big Boys show is Oct. 7 & 8. The El Centro event will be managed by the UDG.
