Yea but I street it to the trail then street it home as well... didnt have my CO2 with me .... or tools, or spares... and I forgot my winch remote. Luckily I didnt need any of the above list Yesterday LOLOLOL

I was up at 7:30am stuffin a non tilt steering wheel column in it and welding a few things on the new rear truss before I left for the trails so I guess you could say it was a "last minute thing"

Cool pics.....wish I had been along for the ride.

AS far as last minute. We used to have some guys show up at Cowan/Monte Eagle with gears to be put in, ales to swap out, trade over to Hummer beadlocks. Man you name it...its been off the rig waiting to go in it. I guess they figured it was more fun at the trailhead with all your buds to watch you work.....LOL

Yeah, you still do drive a turd with a 44 front. I would pimp those tires adn wheels, though
I still don't get how you guys go doorless without harnesses or pipe doors or something on.

I have trees come inside the cab trying to maim me with my doors on.
Just put the chromo 35 spline outers in the sheep. putting a new tranny in tonight. it will be going to the mud run sans passenger door. I got it open to see if I could and now it doesn't exactly shut anymore

Don't make me get back into wheelin Kelly.

Wait I don't have a rig to build, no welder anymore, tiny garage. Have to build a short narrow buggy just to keep it locked up

You know I have an injected 85 yota for sale and a spare top loader case that goes with it. buy the 60 and score a free 14 bolt and wheel the shit out of it.

and a bender and a 4.3 blazer outside still complete and tube supply and time, and parts, and next to free doublers (if you want a cheap ass chevy drive train)
just say the word
I love it when paul posts a thread, it turn into out little chit chat section right here in chevy
Now for some tech. show me how I would make attractive pipe doors to replace the one on the passenger side of my rig that won't fit a real door anymore

Weld an assortment of cross bars to the cage IMO. Who cares if a passenger can get in, they are fools if they get in it anyway

I have been needing to build tube doors for my junk too, but I keep messing around with all these customers rigs and stuff.. I really need a cage more than doors I guess LOL.... id put door bars on your cage then sheetmetal them in or something so you dont get blasted completely with mud... just your upper half and face I dont miss the Kansas farmland slop wheeling at all...that mud is STICKY as hell tryin to clean a rig LOL

Chris talking like he cant afford to wheel but then he emails me and says he is going to Topeka and buying a KLR650.... (dats right I ratted you out )

Thanks bud. I can get much more use out of a KLR than a rig around my parts.
