Thumbs up Fawk Yeah!!

sorry, im just kinda excited.

i finally got my truck running right with no lights, decent mialge, and way way better drivability. im stoked thats all.

went to the local JY yesterday and asked the guy how much for a few 22re sensors if i pulled them myself. finally agreed on $5 a piece. so i got an O2 sensor and a knock sensor for $10. came home, installed each, reset the ECU and bam, it was a great feeling not getting any light (cept for the fuel light because i drove it all day haha). anyway, it was my knock sensor the whole time (or actually the fact that i didnt have one at all). so ya. fawking 55mph down the highway no problem.

next step is getting the new 14 bolt under the rear (i found out that my current 14 is offcenter to the left 2". . . . .WTF??? i measured, remeasured, but whatever, i got another one for $25, so its all good

also im going to go all 3/4" heim joints in the steering along with some 1.5" solid. ive decied not to go histeer. reason being because with the toy sterring box i have to turn the wheel fawking twice around to go around a small curve. anyway, im going to use the inward most hold on my pass side histeer arm as my draglink location and run just a standard between the knuckles tierod.

if i dont like this then i will be swapping in a steering box exactly like the one chris geiger used on the MC formula toy. and then possible get a driver side arm from sky to match my current one.

anyway, im just stocked about my truck running good for the first time ever. thats all.

Callen

Wow thats awsome. I am really glad it's all good now. I know how frustrating it can be to not be able to get everything running right. I am sure you feel great you have it working. Again, congrats!
