Leaving Las Vegas (Big Fawking Scenery Photo and some Boobage)
So I spent the Labor Day weekend in Vegas... it was my first trip...
We went as part of a conference for my wife's work, but I got to play a lot. ![]() I came out $25.50 ahead for the weekend. Not too bad for Vegas Odds. Things I learned about Vegas.. 1) It is FUCKING expensive! Not just the gambling, but the $8 hamburgers and the $39.95 Seafood Buffets... Let's just say that it was a releif to get back to the airport so we oculd have some cheap beer. (beer is free if you are gambling, but you lose enough to pay for it anyway...) 2) The STENCH is TERRIBLE. Damn Smokers were EVERYWHERE and they smoked INSIDE the buildings like it was nothing. I mean.. WTF.. go fawking outside like normal people. I guess Vegas doesnt have a smoking law like other civilized cities. Every damn casino and/or building we went into STANK. It want just cigarettes.. it was .. well.. it smelled like ASS. It was a combination of Smoke, Ass funk, stale breath, stale alcohol, unbathed bodies that have spent more than 48 hours in a casino gambling.. etc. It smelled like ASS 3) Mexicans.... every mexican that lives in Vegas is apparently employed by call-girl services and hooker servces and they stand on the streets passing out these little cards with nekkid wimmens on them. Apparently, you can get Genuine MILF's for only $49 a night... minimum order is two girls, though. 4) Hookers... Speaking of hookers, we wer standing in front of the Paris Casino/Alladin Casino and the cops had two girls detained. We were eavesdropping and they were apparently arrested for prostitution. I SWEAR one of them was 12.. MAYBE 14... ![]() 5) Service... Non existent. you would think in a tourist town that the people in the shops and stores would be more cordial and helpful.. Nope. Rude assed mutherfawkers. SEVERAL stores lost out on some GOOD sales because they were just rude jackasses. We ordered lunch at one point and it took nearly 20 minutes to get a simple hamburger... and it took the waitress almost anothe 20 to just get me change for the $18 meal out of my $50 bill. the bitch almost got walked on... 6) Lines... EVERYWHERE... it took me 15 minutes to get ice cream once. We waited in line almost an hour for the seafood buffet at Rio. WTF... we were at a convention at Caesars palace... had to wait in line to get food. WTF. you would think they would have the capacity to feed 3500 people if they host conventions of 3500 people... ![]() 7) Food... DAAAAAAAMN the food was good. I mentioned the Rio Seafood Buffet. Fricking AWESOME!... $39.95.. and I easily at $80 worth of Crab legs. :yummay: 8) People... Holy fawking crap. HOW many people can be in ONE place at ONE time.. I;ve Never Seen SO many people in my LIFE! 9) Buildings... unfrickingly HUGE beasts... Caesars Palace is easily the largest single building I have been in ... in my LIFE. Bigger than most airports. 10) The Views.. AWESOME.... This was the view from my room.. Newest tower at Caesar's Palace.. we were the first people to use the room. SWEET ass suite. And fawk you if you think this is too big... ![]() and then the Boobages were EVERYWHERE.. and of course, the presence of Dale Chihuly...Of course, I thought of Hooder.. This is ceiling inside the Bellagio Hotel Lobby... This is a $45,000 piece...

I think waiting is part of the LV experience? Yes, damn good food just about everywhere.... I guess you've never been to a big city before? Try Market street at lunch or the mornings? Buildings really arent that big, try SF or NY. All of that crap and you didnt mention that every stupid nook and cranny of LV no matter how small must have a blinking light?

I think the best all-around, and inexpensive buffet has got to be at Palace Station or Boulder Station (awesome deserts if you make it that far). Get off the strip for the good and cheap buffets.
I do a LOT of work in Vegas for BofA and other companies, so I am there a good bit. IN fact, I have two crew members there right now getting things ready for HUGE projects in two locations. I'll be there after Sept and prolly every week from then until the new year. Being there so much, and not being a gambler, I do well. One fo these projects is out in Summerlin. That is a nice area of town, and some freakin HAWTIE WIMMINS with money to spend on ya. ![]() Oh well, Vegas neve really held any real attraction for me. I've stayed on the strip a few times, and just don't get into it... the 1/2 mile walk to your vehicle, the smell, the garish costumes. Although it can be fun, I just don't get into it like most. I need to go about an hour Northwest... Bunny Ranch BABAY... YEAH! As hookin is illegal in Clark Cnty and all that.

Let's just say that it was a releif to get back to the airport so we oculd have some cheap beer. (beer is free if you are gambling, but you lose enough to pay for it anyway...) No shit? How do you think we are able to build fake volcanos, and "free" water fountain shows? On the other hand, if you're a gluttonous hog from Texas, you can "I easily at $80 worth of Crab legs."2) The STENCH is TERRIBLE. It was a combination of Smoke, Ass funk, stale breath, stale alcohol, unbathed bodies that have spent more than 48 hours in a casino gambling.. etc. It smelled like ASS The older run down casinos do smell like an old ashtray, and some of the newer ones, The Venetian especially, pump in an odorizer that smells like Motel 6 bath soap .3) Mexicans.... every mexican that lives in Vegas is apparently employed by call-girl services and hooker servces and they stand on the streets passing out these little cards with nekkid wimmens on them. Apparently, you can get Genuine MILF's for only $49 a night... minimum order is two girls, though. Those "Mexicans" are usually from Guatemala or some other 4th world Central American country. It's pretty pathetic actually, if you don't say "howdy" or "how 'bout them Cowboys?", or some other clever Texsas catch phrase, then they'll leave you alone. 4) Hookers... Speaking of hookers, we wer standing in front of the Paris Casino/Alladin Casino and the cops had two girls detained. We were eavesdropping and they were apparently arrested for prostitution. I SWEAR one of them was 12.. MAYBE 14... ![]() The funny thing about this is that Clark and King (IIRC) are the only two counties that do not have legalized prostitution. If we did, it would put the street walkers out of business, keep the butt-flu from spreading, and put a dent in the crack dealers as well, but we don't want that do we? 5) Service... We only give our shitty service to Texans 6) Lines... ![]() You waited 15 minutes for an ice cream? What a fat ass! I don't wait in lines and have no problem getting seated...did you have your "Don't mess with Texas" shirt on, and your Dallas Cowboys hat on too?7) Food... DAAAAAAAMN the food was good. I mentioned the Rio Seafood Buffet. Fricking AWESOME!... $39.95.. and I easily at $80 worth of Crab legs. :yummay: Whatever you want, whenever you want. There ARE some seriously good restaurants here. And Sushi on every other corner! (I'd hate to be the crew that flys all that fresh fish in every day). 8) People... Holy fawking crap. HOW many people can be in ONE place at ONE time.. I;ve Never Seen SO many people in my LIFE! Uh duh, how do you think we keep from paying state income tax? The more the merrier, come on down, bring your wallet and be prepared to be a sheeple. 9) Buildings... unfrickingly HUGE beasts... Caesars Palace is easily the largest single building I have been in ... in my LIFE. Bigger than most airports. Bigger than Uncle Cody's barn? No way! 10) The Views.. AWESOME.... It's a good place to get laid, that's for sure. A few drinks, a few hours in the nightclubs, and a good view from your room... Thanks for your kind review of our fair city. Ya'll come back now! Eric's mom lives there... he HATES going to visit. The whole city smells like a huge asstray (not a typo)
The food and buffets *used* to be cheap.. many years ago that seafood buffet would have only been 10 bucks or so. But they got wise Everything went up in price. The hoity toity shops in the casino malls are more suited for the BIG spenders rather than the average joes.No matter how many mega hotels with mega towers they build that have 8000 rooms each, that city is still always sold out. WAY too many people in one place at one time if you ask me. LINES are inevitible!! Makes for great people watching though

I prefer Reno. Not any cleaner, but it's only 4 hours from me and the odds are better. It used to be a prettier city but now it's just getting dirty and run down.
I'm sure they'll remodel the entire city soon, they always do.
