Paper Wasps...HELP!!!
Anyone here have any GOOD experience trapping them?
We have used: Beer caught 3 lunch meat caught 0 wasp/yellow jacket bait caught 0 manderine orange & brown sugar caught 0 soda caught 0 Cat food caught 1 They are out of control in a bad way, some days to the point the kids can't play outside . If anyone has any ideas, spill it!! Some of the nests are not exposed, so spraying is not an option for most, neither is burning them And the yellow jacket traps do not work on the fawkers

We always just use wasp killer spray. They seem to be so hit and miss on what they'll attract too, to say put into a Rescue trap. But that stuff drops them from the air instantly.

what about trying paper? They are paper wasps, right?
![]() Actually, if cat food isn't doing the trick, I'd try raw pork (whatever cut you can get cheapest) Throw the pork as far away as possible, do not use it to lure the bees in for the kill, use it to get them away.
