LT230 1.003 High Range Gears

My DII has a high range ratio of 1.211, and I'd like to swap in the 1.003 set to lower my highway revs. Anyone have a set or know a good source for the East Coast?

Oh, will this be a stright drop in, or will other mods be required?

Unhappy

C'mon now. With all the collective Pirate wisdon here, no one knows about these gears?

I was told that they were in the units that were mounted behind the 727 Trannies, but I haven't been able to confirm this.

As I understand it, the answer is no. The 1:1 high range was only used on early RRs which used an early version of the box using a different input gear, But I could be wrong.

There is always an overdrive.

Yes you can fit the 1.003 ratio gears in place of the 1.211, you will need 3 gears and a selector outer hub, if you get suffix C ones you can fit the later cross drilled input gear,
