Christmas lights!! The most in the US!!

So last night we went to Warm Beach which (they claim) has the largest christmas light display in the US. Here are the crappy pics that my crappy camera took.

I hate to bring down the christmas spirit, but all that electricity waste is prob funding an al qaeda training camp...

Petroleum power plants make 8% of all power in the US. And then only during peak periods. Peak periods are summer time. Not Christmas.

Coal is the primary fossil fuel used for power production. 40%, next is natural gas at 23%, hydroelectric and nuclear are 13% each, petroleum is 8%, and the remaining 3% is from renewable sources such as solar, wind, geothermal, municipal solid waste, and biomass fuels.

There is a house in Livermore that is done up big time every year. Last time I saw it a couple years ago there were something like 150k lights on it. Every year the theme is different.

We went and saw it on Sat night. He now supposedly has 250k lights.
