Very disturbing morning!

Get to my office this morning to find out it had been broken into sometime between Sunday @ 1pm and 8am this morning. Walk into the office front door to find the rear french doors(so to speak - very old 8ft tall wood/glass doors) wide open. First thing - crap what is missing. Look around and notice all the cupboards and drawers slighlty open - but nothing missing.

TV is still here - stereo here - wireless router here. Hmmmmmm

I take my laptop home with me every night - no problems there. What is going on??

Open the kitchen cupboard - somone broke in and took my whiskey!!!!

Here comes the disturbing part - you ready for this?

Walked into the bathroom and there is a fresh log - no toilet paper in my toilet! That was the most disturbing part of it all.

The back "french" doors open to the middle courtyard of a 5 plex. I rent an aprtment for an office down the street form my house. Upstairs is the owner - 85 year old nice man that lost his wife a few years back.

The guy up front has been away on business for the last two weeks.

Directly across the doors is a retired asian man that is extremely wealthy.

Up top of him is a druggie mom and dad with a son that unfortunatley has little chance of being taught anything good from them.

Since nothing else is missing the Police don't think it a transient - especially since the neighbors could have easily seen him in the lit open courtyard. My bicycle is still here - leather jacket - and all blankets/pillows.

So who done it??

Poll to follow.

Similar thing with an empty suite in the building I manage...

Last year it was unlocked for a while, and someone decided to go to a corner room and build a log cabin, and wipe with paper towels from the public restroom DOWN THE HALL.

The bad part is - this suite has a PRIVATE bathroom in it, not 40 feet away, with TP and a sink and running water.

could have been worse, they could have done it on your floor, desk, whatever.

If they felt no need to wipe, it could have gone anywhere.

I have considered it many times - once Joshua (the child) was running by the fornt of my office - I *figured* his mom was behind him - went on my way with work. 20 minutes later a construction worker was knocking on doors to see if anyone knew him. He was down the street crawling around their tractors. He knocked on my door and told him where he lived. His *mom* was passed out on the floor - had no idea he was gone.

Toilet seat has been thoroughly dissinfected along with everything else in here. That was

That's what you get for having French doors. American doors would have kicked that guy in the nuts, not let him in to take a shit in your toilet.

LOL - I've been to an RV show, where they clearly stated teh toilets were not for use.

All of them had their seats taped down... except for one I walked in, found the seat up and shit stains in the bowl

Last year at the state fair here in sacramento, I had a mean turtle head poking out. I went inside one of the double-wide model homes that was for sale near the horse pavillion. It was air-conditioned and everything. Instead of using the hot, stinking, porto-potty around the corner, I simply locked the bathroom door in the modular home and built a steamy log cabin. None of the plumbing was hooked-up as it was just there for display so there wasn't any water in the bowl. It's amazing how high the shit piles up when there's no water to even it all out. They didn't have any TP so I had to wipe my ass on one of the decorative hand towels.

I love the state fair!
Good times!
