No, but pirate4x4.com does, smart-ass. Maybe I should see about picking one up. Was never my intention to become a "vendor" but i guess it has happened. Thanks for the push.

In response to the last comment in the previous axed thread, in case anyone was curious of a follow up...

Yer absolutely right. This is not a good deal for everyone, especially those of you that live on the west coast. I have no means of shipping anything larger than 9' in length since i do UPS. But the PBB is everywhere, not just west coast, and there are quite a few that are ordering steel from me. Honestly, i didn't think it would be cost effective either for anyone, but this all came about from me saying what i pay for certain steel, etc...and low and behold, you offer it, and they will buy it.

A 9' stick of 1.75 OD .250 wall shipped to your door would be $106. That's $36 for the steel and $70 shipping. So, for it to be a good deal, you have to find the same steel locally there for under $11.70 a foot, which i'm sure you can. But others can't i guess.

Mostly what i'm gettin is people wanting 4 or 8 sticks of 4-5 foot pieces for control arms. I don't charge for cuts, like most steel warehouses do, and some people don't have the means of hauling a 20-24 foot stick of steel.

Time will tell i guess if i keep doing it. The shipping is a pain, but i can pocket a couple bucks for beer money, so for now it's fun.

Now, maybe since you are going with UPS, I may be wrong. So toss up a quote to 95667 so I can get a feel for how much the Tube costs with shipping. You can pick the type of tube, I just want to get a feel. I'm sure others would want to know as well.

I have family in So Cal in the steel business, and if i lived down there, I would be hooked up big time. But add on shipping, and it kills the savings. But we are not talking short pieces here either.

Plus, I don't wnat my material in short lenths.

LOL! Nah, making a traction bar. I was told the .375" wall would tap directly for a 3/4" rod end. Like you said, though, it's been difficult finding it. There's one place here locally that has it, but it's damn pricey. You've got great prices for us regional guys.

I'm in AL. Seeing your price for the 1.5" x .250 wall, I may just go with that. If you find the 1.25" x. 375 wall, PM me a price please and then I'll decide from there.

I'm checking stock on all of these today, and will have prices and availability by this afternoon.

Also, I am going to make a thread in the Vendor Forum, and i will put that link here so that we can stop using this thread in the wrong forum. Until you see that link change, just keep all inquiries here or via PM.

If you pm'd me, and i havent gotten back to you by this evening around 3, then pm me again, as i have been hit hard with requests and shipping quotes, and im having a hard time keeping up.

Thanks GANG!!!

I guess it is Per Foot? Looking at the 2x8 .250 wall. How long of sticks do you have? Mainly looking to make a rear bumper out of it if it will work.
