Anyone else watch the new Dr. Who on Sci-Fi last nite?

Love that series, always have, thru all the various Doctors. Tom Baker was my favorite, but this new guy Chris Eccleston seems OK. 2 new episodes last nite, can't wait for more.

Nine of the thirteen episodes have been written by Russell T Davies, who is also an Executive Producer, along with Julie Gardner and Mal Young. The producer is Phil Collinson, and other writers involved are Mark Gatiss, Robert Shearman, Paul Cornell and Steve Moffat.

The series has been made by BBC Wales, and will feature the return of some old enemies as well as completely new monsters. A new era of Doctor Who has just begun.

Don't get too used to Christopher (Gone in 60 seconds, 28 Days Later) Eccleston, he quit after this series. The NEW new Doctor Who is a guy called David Tennant. There was an Xmas special here, but his series hasn't started yet. Billie Piper is still around, so its not all bad.

Still, the current series is worth watching. Someone actually gave them a budget this time around so they have some CGI, decent special effects, stop filming EVERY outdoor location in a quarry, and hire some actors who can, gasp, ACT!

If you guys like god-awful 70's UK Sci Fi, go search around for "Blakes 7", i think you'll like it!

I used to watch Dr. Who in the early 80's. I think it did something to my brain! That blond guy was a sham.

so yeah, there are some of us around hahahah

The blonde guy was Colin Baker (no relation to Tom Baker). He wasn't the best Dr. He still gets regular TV work but weighs like 5,000lbs now.
