Wedding ring tech....

so i'm ready to take the plunge

im kicking an idea around that i had, but how much does it cost to have a ring made?? is it expensive?? my mom sold rings for many years, but nothing custom, and i'm going through her old wholesaler/custom shop.....

basically i want a white gold ring, thats basically hollow, with a yellow gold wedding band that fits inside the white gold ring... make sense??? i know there are a lot of variables, but am i talkin (generally) 500 bucks for 1500 bucks if i'm luck or???

Make a ring. I was so incredibly bored one day at work, that I decided to make the most badass ring on the planet for my girlfriend. I took the little plastic ring thats on a 20ounce bottle of coke, and blinged it out by wrapping it with some winter fresh gum wrapper. The best part is, she still has it sitting in the console of her car.

I was beyond the stage of bordom of were you take the ice out of your drink and try to spit them out like a blowdart to see how far you can shoot the ice cubes. After that, anything is possible.

You're missing one important piece of information that will bring all the help you need. Try using the word "diamond". That'll bring all the clique in no time whatsoever.

Have one made. It will have more character than one off the shelf and really doesn't cost any more. Your idea sounds a little "different". You might let the jeweler help with the design. Heres my wifes ring that I designed and had made by Valerie StGaudens.
I know it's a shitty pic but I'll get over it. I've never had need to use the macro feature of my camera.
The engagement ring is a king mackeral wrapped in a circle with a solitaire and the wedding band is shaped like waves under the head with smaller diamonds in it. Yeah, we're kinda into fishing.
